CELPIP?

A unique product to enhance India's Employability Skills British Council India has recently joined forces with Avon Mobility Solutions to create Jobseekers, a mobile learning product which aims to help English learners to develop their language abilities and skills in relation to getting a job. Jobseekers is based around four characters, Neha, Arun, Farah and Rohit, as they try to find the jobs they want. They learn how to tackle application forms and interviews, and present themselves in the best possible light to potential employers. Access is by subscription, and once you have subscribed, you will receive one video card per day direct to you mobile device. Each video card contains as instalment of the story following the four Jobseekers, with a specific focus on three or four carefully selected vocabulary items. By following the story, you will be writing a successful letter of applications, improving the format and content of your CV and advice on answering difficult interview questions. The audio also gives you models of clear pronunciation with a focus on difficult sounds and intonation patterns. Although the language content is aimed at pre-intermediate level learners of English, (around IELTS band score of 3.5-4). The input on employability skills is relevant to all levels of English Speakers.
